Cack handed slingers

Judges 20v16: “Among all this people were seven hundred select men who were left-handed; every one could sling a stone at a hairs breadth and not miss”

Right….. anyone care to explain why left-handed men are so good at throwing stones?! I love it when I’m reading my bible and it throws up one of these gems… Esp as the previous chapter is so grim.

People who are left handed, (so right hemisphere dominants), perform better in a difficult exercise involving spatial orientation (measuring distances from point A to point B with more superior accuracy.)

The left-handed have the advantage that is gained from the capabilities of the right hemisphere, (like excellent spatial orientation, better manipulating talent, etc).

Right handed individuals have an artistic/creative advantage, which is a result of their left hemisphere orientation.
